1. Overview
MAPOS is a sports match and tournament management application provided by Millenyah Pvt Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how users can contact us or delete their account.
2. Information We Collect
MAPOS may collect and store the following information:
- Name and email address used for account creation and sign-in.
- Optional phone number added to the user profile or used for scorer assignment.
- Tournament, team, player, match, score, points table, and scorer assignment data created in the app.
- Support requests or feedback sent to us by email.
- CSV or spreadsheet files you choose to import for tournament setup (processed on your device).
3. Local Storage
MAPOS stores your sign-in session locally on your device using secure app storage so you can stay signed in between app sessions. This data remains on your device and is cleared when you sign out or delete your account.
4. Firebase Authentication
MAPOS uses Firebase Authentication to create accounts, authenticate users, manage sign-in sessions, and support password reset. Firebase Authentication may process account identifiers such as email address and user ID.
5. Firestore Usage
MAPOS uses Cloud Firestore to store user profiles, tournaments, matches, scoring data, and related app records. Access to these records is intended to be limited based on account ownership and assigned roles such as organizer or scorer.
6. Phone Lookup for Scorer Assignment
If you add a phone number to your profile, MAPOS may store a phone lookup record so organizers can find and assign you as a scorer. Signed-in users can search by phone number to assign scorers. We do not sell phone lookup data.
7. Third-Party Services
MAPOS uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and on Android release builds, Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity) to operate the app. Firebase processes data according to Google's Firebase Privacy information. We do not use Firebase Analytics or advertising SDKs in MAPOS.
8. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide account access and profile features.
- Create, display, score, and manage matches and tournaments.
- Assign scorers and show relevant tournament information.
- Respond to support requests and improve MAPOS.
- Maintain app security and prevent abuse.
9. No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell personal data. We do not trade user profile data, tournament data, or match data for advertising or third-party marketing purposes.
10. Data Retention
We retain account and app data for as long as needed to provide MAPOS, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain records of tournaments or matches created by users. When you delete your account, MAPOS deletes your authentication account, profile, phone lookup records, and tournaments and matches you created.
11. Account Deletion
Users can delete their MAPOS account from the Profile section in the app. Account deletion removes your Firebase Authentication account, your user profile, phone lookup records, and tournaments and matches you created.
12. Children
MAPOS is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to use online services without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us.
